Will Help Us Move Forward

I am writing to encourage Guilford voters to re-elect Charles Havrda and Susan Renner to the Board of Selectmen and to re-elect Jeff Beatty to the Board of Finance. During my eight years on the Board of Education, I have had the opportunity to work closely with all three of these dedicated public servants and have seen the care and commitment they have for Guilford and its taxpayers.

These three candidates have worked to make sure that the services provided by our town meet the needs of our students, residents, and businesses in a way that is fiscally responsible, not just for the town’s present needs but for years to come. Charles, Susan, and Jeff have worked with the members of their respective boards and town departments as well as members of the community to address the issues facing our town in a way that is collaborative and productive. This was most evident during the past 18 months when we all worked together to make sure that essential services were provided by the town and the Board of Education during the pandemic.

The experience these candidates have gained through years of service to the town and their demonstrated ability to work collaboratively will help us move forward in a way that benefits our entire community. For these reasons, I encourage my fellow Guilford voters to re-elect Charles Havrda and Susan Renner to the Board of Selectmen and Jeff Beatty to the Board of Finance.
