Reasonable and Thoughtful

It is with pleasure and confidence that I write this letter on behalf of Kevin Danby for re-election to the position he holds on Old Saybrook’s Zoning Board of Appeals. I have known Kevin for 10-plus years and find him to be a responsible resident of Old Saybrook who lives in the Knollwood Beach Association with his family. Kevin’s home is located at the corner of Jarvis Street and Clubhouse Lane. The property is beautifully maintained and is testimony to his commitment to the neighborhood. He looks out for and after his neighbors and is always present to assist in any way that he can.

This loyalty was paid forward to Kevin and his family earlier this summer, when he himself needed assistance with a project on which he and his wife were working. The turnout of support that he received that afternoon was extraordinary. The neighborhood was well represented and the spirit of camaraderie felt. I have dialed into several Zoning Board of Appeals Meetings and find Kevin to be reasonable and thoughtful in his questions to the townspeople, or parties that represent them. It is refreshing to see and hear his judgement of the proposed plans. His decision is rooted in the standards for such expansions that come before this board.

I completely support another term for Kevin Danby, as he has proven himself to be a positive influence for the Town of Old Saybrook.
