Ready to Step Up

Ernie Lacore and his wife moved to Madison four years ago and quickly got involved in our community. Ernie presently serves now as an alternate on our Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and is seeking to continue on that board as a full member.

After being a long time and active civic leader in Cromwell as chairman of the Economic Development Commission and also as a member of the Conservation and Inland Wetlands & Watercourses commissions, he moved to the shoreline. Professionally, Ernie has worked as a financial counselor to Connecticut’s Joint Force Military serving our National Guard. He has years of experience in managing real estate assets for a national bank and worked with state and municipal government employee benefits and pensions.

Ernie is a veteran and served honorably in the U.S. Army. He holds a degree in economics from American International College. Now that he is semi-retired, he’s ready to step up and continue serving in his new community. He is passionate about seeking improvements to the quality of life of every citizen of Madison.

It’s nice to see some new blood balance out our boards and bring new perspectives to this community. I encourage your readers to join me on voting for Ernie Lacore for ZBA on Nov. 2.
