Making Thoughtful Decisions

I’ve known Kevin Danby for more than 50 years. In fact, he started pumping gas for me when he was just a teenager. I must say that it truly has been a pleasure to watch him grow and prosper over the years. However, that doesn’t happen by accident. Rather, it happens from looking forward and making thoughtful decisions.

For instance, aside from marrying his wife Maribeth more than 43 years ago, one of the best decisions they made as a couple was to buy a home in Old Saybrook in the early 1990s and move their family here shortly thereafter. Since then, Kevin has become as much a part of the Old Saybrook community as Old Saybrook has become a part of him. And, Kevin knows that the decisions he makes as a Zoning Board of Appeals member not only affect him and his family but also his extended family; i.e., the Old Saybrook community.

It’s for this reason that I’m happy to pledge my support to him in his re-election to the Zoning Board of Appeals and I would encourage everyone else in the Old Saybrook community to do the same.
