Every Resident Benefits
Every Guilford resident benefits from our outstanding schools—and not just because our schools affect property values. Just as important, we all benefit from living in a community among thoughtful, inquisitive young people who are learning to grapple with tough issues through reason and logic, even when it may be uncomfortable.
The candidates running for Board of Education (BOE) on rows A and C of the ballot are committed to upholding the quality education Guilford is known for. They support our teachers, principals, and superintendent of schools, who have all worked tirelessly over the past two years to keep our schools going through a pandemic while also continually improving the curriculum and positioning our students to succeed in the world.
Local elections matter, and this is not one to sit out. I encourage all readers to make a plan to vote on Nov. 2—or get an absentee ballot and vote today—and to protect the excellence of our schools by voting rows A and C for BOE.
