Even More Effective

As we approach another election cycle here in Clinton, I have found that our new town manager form of government has been working well since its initiation. We have had competent people on the council, and I believer electing Paul Gebauer will make the council even more effective.

Paul has been a resident of the Town of Clinton since 1989. He has worked with our previous first selectmen in establishing two very important committees here in Clinton. He established the Energy Committee that has helped hundreds of residents and many small businesses become more energy efficient. He also worked with the Board of Education to see that two schools were equipped with solar energy. Paul was also involved in the Sustainability Committee that will help us as we try to become less dependent on fossil fuel and more dependent on renewable energy. His other involvement has been on the Historic District, which works to protect our numerous historic properties here in Clinton.

I know that I will be casting my vote for Paul Gebauer for Town Council on Nov. 2, and I encourage everyone to do the same.
