I am a lifelong North Haven resident (North Haven High School Class of ‘68 and former football captain) and I am writing to encourage all citizens to vote for Sally Buemi to the Board of Selectmen. She has been serving on the board for eight years, and we need to re-elect Sally. I’ve known Sally for over 40 years, and she loves North Haven.
She has the experience and knowledge to represent the town. She works well with First Selectman Mike Freda, but I like that Sally offers her own ideas and suggestions, and she is sure to point out if things were done wrong. I think that is good to have such a balance of ideas, and I look forward to the newspaper column she writes to keep the people informed.
Sally is a lawyer, and her legal skills serve her well on the Board of Selectmen. Sally has lived in North Haven all her life, and she has done a lot for the town, as a coach of girls softball, as a Boy Scout volunteer, as a former member of the Board of Finance, and serving on the Board of Selectmen. There is no substitute for dedication and experience, so I encourage your readers to vote for Sally Buemi for Selectman on Nov. 2.
