Beautiful Statement of Inclusion

I commend our wonderful Guilford High School (GHS) Music Department for its beautiful statement of inclusion on the GHS Music Department web page.

Music is universal, and the department plans to include music knowledge from more diverse cultures, and present the musical brilliance of unrepresented musicians and nationalities, all in addition to our gifted GHS music students learning and performing traditional music from European cultures. How exciting—how enriching!

I’m a pianist and a vocalist. I am delighted that, as usual, our Guilford Public Schools give our students the very best.
