A Team of Leaders

I write in support of the Team Hall/Campbell campaign for Westbrook. Regarding John Hall for the position of first selectman, John’s entire life has been about his leadership in many different positions. He has an uncanny ability to look at all points of view and to take a position regardless of political affiliations. It has often been said that his leadership can be stated in two words: truth and trust.

Joe Campbell has a record of outstanding service as a member of the Board of Education, coaching in the Westbrook school system, and most recently a business entrepreneur. Joe has the qualities to generate further necessary business growth in our community.

Nancy Giannini is a highly energetic person who inspired us with her non-stop campaigning. She will bring her unbridled enthusiasm and professional skills, including a strong work ethic, to the position of town clerk. In her own words, “This position is about putting folks in Westbrook first and ensuring all their needs are met.” Nancy’s engaging personality and total commitment will ensure that all the functions of the Town clerk’s position will be addressed.

I encourage your readers to vote on Nov. 2 for all of the individuals running on the Team Hall/Campbell ticket. Each candidate on the Board of Finance—Paul Winch and Karl Gelotte—and Board of Education—Don Perreault and Andrew Miesse—has excellent credentials to serve on these two respective boards. This is a team of leaders for the future of Westbrook.

First Selectman Noel Bishop (R)
