A Definite People Person

I am writing in support of Kate Hair for Chester town clerk. I’ve known Kate since she was in high school. She is a very outgoing person and a hard worker. Through high school and her college years at Rutgers University, she worked at a local restaurant. After graduation she work at Cornell Cooperative Extension as a research assistant before returning to Chester where she has embraced life in a small town.

Currently Kate is working for a local shop as a designer and sales person and as a member of the Chester Merchants group. In her free time she serves on the Conservation Commission and has tirelessly worked toward qualifying Chester as a Sustainable CT town.

Kate is a definite people person and is extremely organized. These qualities are what is needed to be a town clerk. She has worked and lived in Chester for many years and has a great relationship with our town’s people. On her own, she has shadowed our current town clerk on several occasions to see just what the job encompasses and has done research with the Secretary of the State’s Office to find out all she can about the town clerk position. I encourage your readers to support Kate on Election Day, Nov. 2.
