People Ahead of Party

As an independent voter who does not follow any political party agenda, I would like to share my experience with Jamie Cosgrove. As a health care professional, I came to see Jamie about a licensing and cleanliness issue. Jamie listened, was helpful and kind. I found him to be flexible, intelligent, and unlike other politicians in town, putting people ahead of party lines using logic and evidence to make decisions.

Unlike politics on the national scene, most admirably, I found him not to be dogmatic, treating others with respect regardless of their gender, race, age, or political status, even when being inappropriately verbally attacked. I feel fortunate and I feel our town is fortunate to have him lead our town and I look forward to voting for him for first selectman.
