Not Just a Job

One of the major Westbrook departments is that of the Town Clerk’s Office. And, if you go to westbrookct.us and click on the Town Clerk’s Office, you will see listed the various and diverse responsibilities assigned thereto. The town clerk is not just a job, it is a profession, and Joan Angelini is our professional who, along with her staff, administers marriage licenses, birth certificates, death certificates, real estate transactions, dog licenses, title searches, and so many other services, all done with accuracy, dedication, and a friendly smile.

Joan knows that the town must move forward in the services it provides. She has received state grants to update many services in her department. Joan has been the Westbrook town clerk for 16 years and her depth of experience along with having earned her certificates as certified Connecticut town clerk and certified municipal town clerk along with other awards make her imminently qualified for her job.

For many, she is the face of Westbrook. I encourage your readers to vote for Joan Angelini for Westbrook town clerk on Nov. 2.
