Continuing Outstanding Service

My husband, Dom Morelli, is running for re-election to the Board of Police Commissioners, of which he has been a member since November 2017. Dom has been a resident of Clinton for more than 13 years. In addition to the police board, Dom has served the Clinton community as a member of the Police Command Staff Committee, the Public Works Commission, Human Services Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and as a Jared Eliot Middle School mentor.

Dom is extremely qualified to serve as a police commissioner. He has a degree in police science/criminal justice, spent 34 years of service and training as a police detective, and was director of security at a Connecticut State government building, where he was responsible for security details, scheduling work hours, and fiscally balancing a budget.

Dom believes that it is important for the Clinton Police Department to stay within its budget while continuing its outstanding service in safeguarding our town and citizens. Dom has stated that he will represent all of Clinton’s voters. He listens carefully to all sides of a presentation before he votes on an issue. He is able to do this as both a Clinton taxpayer and a retired police detective. I encourage your readers to vote to reelect Dom Morelli for Police Commissioner on Tuesday, Nov. 2—a well qualified candidate!
