I encourage your readers to vote for Joan Angelini as Westbrook’s town clerk on Nov. 2. We have been fortunate to benefit from her effectiveness and experience in these last 16 years. She has been able to run an office that marries the bureaucracy of government with the needs and concerns of a small town.

Joan has been the perfect fit for this role as she is affiliated with state and national clerk organizations, providing Westbrook with the latest regulations in voting and elections, land records, marriage laws, and the myriad other duties of the Town Clerk’s Office. Additionally, Joan is a vital member of our community outside of her job, raising a family in our town, participating in countless town events, and taking time to get to know the community she serves.

When I walk into the Town Clerk’s Office in Westbrook I know that I benefit from her generous spirit and her irreplaceable expertise. The town clerk is a crucial role in our small town and I encourage Westbrook voters to support Joan Angelini, an experienced town clerk who works for all of us.
