I write to express my support for the re-election of Joan Angelini as Westbrook’s town clerk. For the past 15 years, Joan has been our town clerk, supporting the needs of our residents and businesses. When you enter the Town Clerk’s Office, you are greeted with a smile and you feel welcomed when you conduct your business.

The role and responsibilities of the town clerk are an intricate part of local government. Joan has sought and received financial grants to make conducting business more efficient. Joan’s role and that of her team increased with the COVID-19 pandemic with numerous federal and state mandates including the unprecedented 2020 Election that allowed for absentee voting for all registered voters.

A vote for Joan is a vote for experience, expertise, and dedication. I encourage your readers to join me in voting to re-elect Joan Angelini on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
