Pragmatic and Fiscally Responsible

Westbrook is a wonderful town in which to live and raise a family. Taxes are lower in Westbrook than many other communities, but the quality of life is strong. Much of this is due to our pragmatic and fiscally responsible town government. In order to keep things moving in the right direction, I am supporting Paul Winch and Karl Gelotte for the Board of Finance.

Paul and Karl will both keep a watchful eye on Westbrook’s finances and ensure that our taxes remain as low as possible. Paul has been involved in many local organizations, including Shoreline Buddy Baseball, Westbrook Little League, and serving as chair of the Westbrook Foundation. He understands the needs of our community and deserves to retain his seat, which he has held since 2019, on the Board. Similarly, Karl Gelotte has served our community well with his time on the Inlands Wetlands Commission and the Westbrook Land Conservation Trust. He will be an excellent addition to the board and knows the fiscal needs of our local families and businesses. He raised his children here and wants to ensure that they and other young people have the ability to start families and buy homes in our beautiful town.

I hope your readers will join me in supporting both Paul, Karl, and the entire Republican team this Nov. 2. They will give Westbrook the best chance to remain fiscally responsible.
