Like many Madison residents, I was so pleased to see that Noreen Kokoruda has thrown her hat into the ring to run for a seat on our Board of Selectmen again.

Noreen served on the Board of Selectmen for more than 14 years before starting her 10-year career as our state representative. Noreen understands what it’s like to be a mother, grandmother, businesswoman, not-for-profit leader, and an elected official in this community. She knows the issues and how to get something done. She has been a mentor for many women in Madison and in the state. She has stepped up always putting our seniors, young families, and our children before politics. Noreen is approachable and makes time for everyone. If you call her, she gets back to you, no matter how busy she might be. She is a 25-year community leader who really listens to each of us and that’s refreshing in today’s world. I encourage your readers to join me in voting for Noreen Kokoruda on Nov 2.
