Will Remain Steadfast

As a candidate for treasurer on the Republican ticket this November in Old Saybrook, I would like to give the readers some insight into my background. As a recently retired town clerk from a mid/large size municipality, where I as town clerk oversaw the nine Town Council members, I am very familiar with the yearly budget process and department requests for money transfers, as well as bonding for capital projects.

I worked closely with the mayor’s office and department heads for more than 13 years. I always prided myself and was applauded for my bi-partisan work ethic. I am also a former registrar of voters. Prior to going into municipal government I was a Realtor for 15 years and had the honor of serving the State of Connecticut as the chairman of the Connecticut Real Estate Commission, for 6 years. I have extensive leadership skills and am a team player.

Moving to Old Saybrook in May 2017 with my husband Jerry was a dream come true, and now is the time for me to get involved and give back to my home town! I have the time and love for municipal government to achieve the goal of serving as treasurer ogf the Town of Old Saybrook. By electing a Republican woman for treasurer, Old Saybrook voters can be assured that the fiscal stability we have come to depend on will remain steadfast. I ask for your readers’ support on Nov. 2.
