A Strong Advocate

I am very excited to be running this year for Westbrook’s town clerk. As someone who has been very active in the regional community, I felt it was only a matter of time before running for local office.

From being involved in my children’s education to being a volunteer in civic organizations like the Rotary Club and the Westbrook Elks to being an active member of the YMCA, I have always been there for my community. I’ve worked as a small claims clerk in the Superior Court, so I know how vital it is to have thorough recordkeeping and to always be there to answer any questions, no matter how complex, the public has. I’ve also run a small business, so I understand the needs of our local business community. Town clerk felt like a natural fit for me based on my qualifications and my ability to be a strong advocate for the public.

I look forward to being there for Westbrook residents, homeowners, and businesses for all their needs from public recordkeeping to licensing. During elections, I will always be there for voters to answer any questions and to make voting by absentee seamless. Throughout my life, I have been an advocate for people whether in my professional capacity or through my many volunteer endeavors and I pledge to make the Town Clerk’s Office as people-friendly as possible.

For me, this position is about putting folks in Westbrook first and ensuring all their needs are met. I hope I can count on your readers’ support on Nov. 2 and look forward to meeting many of them on the campaign trail this season.
