Two Boxes Left Blank

It is deeply concerning to me that The Ledges project was accepted by the Planning & Zoning Commission. Seemingly, all a property owner has to do is sit down with an attorney to check all the boxes in order to win an appeal.

Sadly, two boxes were left blank: kind neighbor and steward of the earth. As soon as the explosives go off, all the animals who have no voice that call ledges home like the bobcat and numerous others will run for the hills seeking shelter from the storm.

Decent people live in this town and volunteer for committees but there is a fine line where want and desire overtake common decency and consideration for the wellbeing of neighbors and wildlife.

Let’s be mindful of the power of gold and the havoc it wreaks on our spirit.
