Support in a Crisis

Last year in August, I fell off a roof and broke my back. This required surgery and the placement of several rods and screws in my back in order to stabilize it. Needless to say it was a very long and painful recovery process. I want to thank everyone who supported me, and my family for the past nine months.

I was truly touched and moved by the support I received from my employer, and fellow employees, and the entire Clinton community. Countless cards, messages, and phone calls kept my spirits up and were an important part of my recovery. I will never be able to pay back everyone for the kindness and support that was given.

One of the great assets of living in a small town is the sense of community and support you receive when you find yourself in a crisis. I wish I could mention everyone who reached out in this time of need but there wouldn’t be enough room in the paper. Please know I’m eternally grateful to each and every one of them and I will never forget their kindness.
