Strength in Numbers

Liberty Bank plans on closing the Essex downtown branch in October. It seems as though it is trying to keep this information from its customers, as we have not been notified directly from them, but via the media (if one was lucky enough to catch the article). This branch is a huge cornerstone to our downtown and its closure will be a great inconvenience to all its local customer base, as well as a huge loss to the town.

I encourage all concerned citizens to contact Liberty Bank CEO David Glidden at dglidden@liberty-bank.com to express their disappointments in the decision to close this local bank branch. With strength in numbers, perhaps together we can reverse this impending decision.
