Diversity Gives Strength

Many Old Saybrook voters recognize the strength that comes from greater diversity in town government. How can we make that happen? Elect more women and elect candidates of different ages. Diversity gives strength to a governing body.

The current seven-member Board of Finance has only one woman. The seven-member Police Commission has only two. The Democratic slate offers Old Saybrook voters the chance to increase diversity by endorsing many qualified women candidates over a wider age demographic.
