In the April 22 issue [“Branford Point Dock Repair Start Delayed, Town Holds Contractor to Original Completion Date”], I was pleased to see that the town is holding the contractor to the original completion date for the Branford Point dock repair. I hope and expect a similar standard will be applied to the firm that screwed up the Sybil Avenue seawall rebuilding project. This debacle inconvenienced many over the past several months. Hopefully, they have done more thorough preparation as they undertake the bridge replacement near Lenny’s Restaurant.
