Something to Think About

As a District Two member of the Town Council, I would like to recommend converting the vacant D.C. Moore School into a community center. This would actually be the first of its kind in East Haven.

The Community Center could have numerous programs for our seniors, adolescents, and children. Also, the surrounding acres of land would go for walking trails tied into the existing Shoreline Greenway Trail system.

I am sure there are plenty of federal and state grant funds available to make this possible.

Something to think about.
