Nothing Short of Heroic

As a parent in Clinton I would like to take the opportunity to express my appreciation for all the hard work being done by everyone in the Clinton Public schools system. The pandemic has challenged and stretched every convention.

Superintendent of Schools Maryann O’Donnell and Board of Education Chair Erica Gelven have been nothing short of heroic. Every day must seem like “live at the improv.” They are amazing, but so are all the teachers, office staff, lunchroom staff and custodian personnel. Every single one has gone above and beyond.

I believe the values of a community are reflected in its support of quality education.

We’ve considered ourselves to be fortunate to have our child in the Clinton Public Schools since pre-K. Now more than ever we’re just plain grateful.

It is a comfort to know that at the end of the day the welfare and education of the children in Clinton comes first.
