Festive and Delicious

This year, Guilford Meals on Wheels delivered 96 Easter feasts. Every holiday meal was festive and delicious. Each included a traditional Easter meal prepared by Guilford chef Larry Santamaria and the wonderful kitchen crew. Pansies were donated by Village Green Gardens and fruit and water was from Fresh Market. A crew from the Guilford Interfaith Volunteers Board of Directors decorated a special Easter bag for each meal and, along with several other families, delivered them to every household. An Easter greeting card created by Guilford Elementary schools and the Bovee family was included with each meal.

Each meal and the (socially distanced) visit was warmly received. This was truly a community-wide volunteer effort. We wish to thank each and every volunteer and contributor for his or her part in making it happen.
