For Public Safety

In regards to the April 8 letter “A Small First Step,” the writer Hugh Birdsall does not take into account the limited size and access to Clinton’s town beach. Parking bans are usually in effect for public safety along with the restricted hours because of crime and public safety.

Clinton is not racist, White, privileged town like the writer seems to try and accuse the town of being. I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Neither were most of the rest of the people in town.

Clinton is a hard-working, blue-collar town of caring and giving people. I did read the state bill that the writer referred to.
