Positive Commitment

We have lived in Madison since 1975 and can honestly say in our opinion that no other couple has given more to our town than Tom and Eileen Banisch.

Their involvement in many of our town’s community organizations, youth sports, the Rotary Club, town government, the Chamber of Commerce, St. Margaret Church, and more demonstrate their wide variety of positive commitment to our town.

Tom, in his two terms as first selectman, worked tirelessly on many initiatives, integrating with other Connecticut towns to influence Hartford decisions so as to benefit our state’s small towns.

Eileen, in her executive director position at the Chamber of Commerce, has always had a positive and creative way with our many small businesses to promote Madison.

So many Madison residents can call them both friends. Tom and Eileen leaving will also leave an empty feeling felt for some time by many. Our hearts go out to them both and wish them many blessings in their new home.
