Quick as a Wink

My husband and I have lived in the same home on Goose Lane for 38 plus years and have shoveled the snow and chopped the ice piled in front of our driveway as the Guilford crews plow and clear our street. In all those years, probably hundreds of pickup trucks with plows on them have driven by us, but on Tuesday morning, a kind gentleman stopped to ask if we’d like him to plow the piled up snow to clear the entrance.

Quick as a wink he was done, and would not accept any payment, and quick as a wink he restored our faith in humanity. I thank that kind stranger!
