Highlight the Talents

Thanks go to everyone who attended the Branford Arts & Cultural Alliance (BACA) Painted Doors of Branford event on Nov. 7 and 8. It was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the talented people who are our neighbors, to come together as a community and enjoy our town center, and to raise funds for a scholarship to be awarded to Branford students who will seek careers in the arts.

Special thanks go to all of our sponsors, especially the Vigliotti family for the generous use of its storefront property, the talented artists who were able to transform doors into works of art, the student volunteers who helped set up and break down the exhibits on both days, the weather gods for smiling down on us, and finally to Robin Sandler and the BACA committee that worked so hard to make the event such a success.

We look forward to continued support and attendance at BACA events in the future. If your readers would like to learn about opportunities to become more involved in BACA—perhaps working with a committee supporting one of our many on-going projects or volunteering at an event—they can visit the BACA website www.branfordarts.org.
