I am shocked by the Oct. 15 headline in your paper [“Some Community Members Push Back Against Schools’ Method of Teaching Racial Justice”]. How could one person insist on taking the time of Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Freeman during his time of COVID-19 decisions?

I would guess that more people in Guilford are very glad that the curriculum is teaching the truth about Black history.
