Sincere Desire to Listen

I am writing today in support of John-Michael Parker for state representative in the 101st District. For most of the 18 years I have lived in Madison, I have served as a community leader and volunteer, and I have been especially active in our schools serving as PTO president on several boards and as chair of the Parent Representative Council. I have had the pleasure of working with many outstanding individuals in our community and can say without hesitation that John-Michael is among the very best I have known.

John-Michael stands out because he is genuine, humble, sincere, and hard-working. He is also a solutions-oriented problem solver who achieves results. One especially admirable quality is his sincere desire to listen. It is abundantly clear that John-Michael cares and truly wants to hear from everyone in our community.

John-Michael is energetic and is driven to work tirelessly for our community. Having attended Madison schools himself, and now serving on multiple boards and commissions, John-Michael has proven his commitment to our community through all of his volunteer efforts. I am especially grateful for John-Michael’s work at Daniel Hand High School while my daughter was a student there. It was clear to me that inspiring and mentoring our youth brought John-Michael personal joy, and the students responded to his sincerity and generosity with unwavering admiration. I could not have asked for a better role model for my daughter and our Madison students.

John-Michael is not only well-qualified to serve as our state representative, he is a man of tremendous honor and character. I am proud to endorse John-Michael and hope your readers will join me in voting for him on Nov. 3.
