Knows What We Need
I’m proud to endorse John-Michael Parker for state representative in the 101st District. John-Michael was raised in Madison; he knows our schools as a Madison graduate and from experience and expertise as an educator, artist, and leader. After graduating from Daniel Hand High School, he continued his studies at Yale University and after that worked as a teacher. Currently, John-Michael is the executive director of Arts for Learning CT, an organization that supports and inspires student creativity through the arts. He has come back to Madison to live and raise his family, demonstrating his tremendous love for and commitment to our community.
It is clear to me that John-Michael knows what we need in our schools for our kids to succeed and wants to work to better K-12 education. He is committed to supporting vibrant, well-resourced communities where all families in Connecticut will thrive. To achieve this goal, I agree with John-Michael that it starts with investment in the education of our children. He knows that education is the foundation but not the exclusive way in which we must support our communities. Voters can visit his website at www.jmp4ct.com to learn more. After reading through the website and talking with John-Michael it is clear that he has a vision—a great one at that. Not only will he work to invest in education and good jobs, but he will also work to ensure affordable high-quality healthcare in our state and to build thriving communities with a focus on establishing a robust economy for all.
It is time for change. It is time to elect someone with vision and the energy to execute these ideas that impact us all. I encourage your readers to join me in voting for John-Michael Parker for state representative on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
