Focusing on the Facts

As a local entrepreneur, State Senator Christin Cohen (D-12) knows all too well what the pandemic has meant to small businesses in our district. She was a tireless advocate for the governmental support that was so critical to town businesses. While we all would like to see our cost of living stabilize, tax cuts as a means to stimulate growth cannot happen during a pandemic if businesses are closing all around us.

Senator Cohen has made it clear that quality health insurance for her constituents is a priority. Small businesses have always struggled with this issue.

During her first term, we have come to know Senator Cohen quite well. She is exactly the kind of candidate Madison needs. She is always accessible to the public. During the campaign she has handled hateful and personal attacks with grace and aplomb. She is data driven, focusing on the facts in evidence to guide her decisions. (At times this has put her at odds with her own party.)

During these very challenging times there is no room for sound-bite politics. We need a senator who is of the people and for the people. Christine Cohen is exactly that and we offer the strongest possible endorsement of her candidacy for a second term.
