In the state representative race for the 23rd District, though, we will be supporting State Representative Devin Carney (R) for re-election. Devin is thoughtful in his approach to governance and always works hard for the people he represents.
For us, we like that Devin has actively worked to find bipartisan solutions by forming both the Young Legislators’ Caucus and the Clean Energy Caucus. He actively engages with legislators of both parties in order to find compromise that will move Connecticut forward. He’s even done so with national groups of legislators by representing Connecticut in both the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators and the Millennial Action Project.
Devin is a solutions-based legislator who always puts people ahead of partisan division. He’s got our vote on Nov. 3.
