Absolutely Crucial Perspective

I am a recent college graduate who grew up in Madison, and I care very much about the future of our community as well as the political challenges facing our country. I am proud to support John-Michael Parker for our 101st District state representative, because our community desperately needs a leader with the intellect, integrity, and earnestness that he has shown our town for years.

I am impressed not only with John-Michael’s contributions to our community, but also with his comprehensive action plan for making lasting, impactful change for our state. Over the past several months, I have been particularly concerned about the number of recent graduates facing hiring freezes in almost every industry as well as the alarming number of mothers leaving the workforce out of necessity. In such an uncertain time, our state needs someone who will take a nuanced approach to rebuilding our economy. His long-term solutions will not only return our economy to normal, but will improve our quality of life in a way that is more equitable than it was prior to COVID-19.

I believe John-Michael will bring an absolutely crucial perspective to Hartford and hope your readers will join me in voting for John-Michael Parker for state representative in our 101st District.
