A Strong Future

We are both lifelong residents of Old Saybrook and our daughter is raising her two children in Old Lyme, so this area means a lot to us. We want to make sure that our grandchildren are able to enjoy this area the same way we and our daughter have.That means great schools, a beautiful environment, lower property taxes, and a strong quality of life.

This election will set the course for the next two years in Hartford and we have concerns about increased taxes and reduced local control. State Representative Devin Carney (R-23) will fight to ensure that our schools remain excellent, against unfunded mandates that will raise property taxes, and for better state budgeting practices. He wants to ensure that we have the ability to comfortably retire here and that our grandchildren have a strong future.

We need more representatives who are looking out for our future and working to make Connecticut a better place for everyone. We encourage your readers to join us in supporting Devin on Nov. 3.
