True Character

I am writing in support of my husband, John L. Hall III, who is running for the 35th House of Representatives District.

You have read about his accomplishments in the newspaper. I want to tell you about the person that John is. I want to speak to his character, which can be defined as what makes a person different or distinct from others.

Most times it has a particular emphasis on moral qualities. When someone speaks of a person with good moral character, we often will describe them with terms like integrity, honesty, moral fiber, care, or concern for others. Character is demonstrated in actions, but true character resides in the heart.

John is a man of deep faith and belief in God. Character is influenced and developed by our choices. John has a pure heart and one that seeks to put others first. He is a man of few words. When he speaks, each word is powerful and heard by all.

I thank your readers for reaching out to John and getting to know him before they cast their votes for him. He is looking forward to moving our great state forward together.
