Took Up this Challenge

Over the past few years, we have had our share of weather that challenges our seemingly fragile electrical utilities. Being on the smallest grid in Madison, we are often prioritized last leading to lengthy spans without power. As such, this has been a significant point of interest for the folks on our street and adjacent.

Despite many attempts in the past to connect with local and state leadership and Eversource, we are finally seeing progress now with the help, interest, and actions of State Senator Christine Cohen (D-12). And while things remain in a state of uncertainty, the fact that the senator took up this challenge gives us hope that we may put this to rest this time. My wife and I are also grateful to her and her wonderful staff in the remediation of other matters. Her team was caring, responsive, and effective!

After years of being casually entertained about our power issues without a meaningful response or interest, we have leadership now that is more determined to resolve the matter. As such, it is my intention to vote for Senator Cohen and for John-Michael Parker for 101st District state representative with the expectation of continued leadership, participation, and representation for our street, Madison, and beyond. We need their genuine enthusiasm and interest in government. I believe they are action-oriented and will advocate for the wellbeing of everyone.
