Education Important All

This is a big year for me: I became an empty nester. I moved to Madison 16 years ago to be near family and to make sure my daughters would receive a great education. Looking back, it was the right move. Education is important to all of us and that’s why I’m voting for Noreen Kokoruda.

She has been an education champion in Hartford and has worked hard to support our kids and our teachers. That’s why our teacher’s union, the Connecticut Education Association, again includes Noreen on its Honor Roll. In their letter they stated “you have proven yourself to be an advocate for students, teachers and public education.” CEA President Jeff Leake continues “your constituents and teachers throughout the state are fortunate to have you working for them in the General Assembly.”

Times are changing in Connecticut and we need strong leaders ready to put our kids and our community first. Noreen has always supported all children of Madison that’s why she was chosen Advocate of the year by the Connecticut Youth Services Association Board. I’m voting for Noreen Kokoruda on Nov. 3.
