A Staunch Advocate

In the upcoming election, I am voting for someone I know always has Old Saybrook’s best interests in mind at the Capitol—that person is Devin Carney (R-23), our state representative. Devin was born and raised in Old Saybrook, went to school here, and volunteers here with many organizations.

Devin’s record of standing up for Old Saybrook is clear in his steadfast support of our schools, our small businesses, and our environment. He is a staunch advocate for our local taxpayers, as he helped defeat several proposals that would have led to property tax increases.

He not only works hard representing us in Hartford, but is also a big part of our community. He is a member of The Rotary Club of Old Saybrook, The Kate board, the Saybrook Senior Housing board, and the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce. He does all of this because he wants to do everything he can to support our community.

As someone who knows a thing or two about Old Saybrook, I encourage your readers to join me in supporting Devin Carney for re-election.
