A Positive Change

I am honored to support John May as the 35th District state representative for Clinton, Killingworth, and Westbrook. John’s candidacy represents a positive change for all of us in the Nov. 3 election. As a Green Party candidate, Mr. May offers voters a unique opportunity to lead our towns at the state level. John will work ceaselessly with all elected officials on any issue without having to vote along traditional party lines. John will be a true representative of all the people.

John strongly supports our seniors. He will do everything he can to ensure that seniors have all the tax breaks possible so they won’t leave the state, leaving their families behind; John is a strong advocate for local business and will work hard to keep them local. John is very supportive of our local schools and is working to ensure that our children have every opportunity to be successful including job skills for those not college bound. John strongly supports our law enforcement officers and their ongoing efforts in community-based policing.

John and his wife, a teacher, have a daughter attending The Morgan School. They have lived in Clinton for several years. John has tremendous experience as a 20-year educator and as a small business owner who works with working families and seniors. Additionally, John serves on the Clinton Economic Development Commission and the Conservation Commission. This provides great experience for a state representative.

We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area on Long Island Sound. I am convinced that John May will work very hard so that we may be able to enjoy our towns for years to come. I hope your readers will also vote for John May.
