How Many Rotarians..?

The Chester Rotary Club has hosted a Lobsterfest in September for almost 50 years, but that tradition was challenged this year by the COVID-19 epidemic. Rather than skip the year (and forego fundraising for local charities when the need has never been greater), the club decided to offer a safe alternative: the Chester Rotary Lobster Take-Out Fundraiser. Thanks to our generous community, the event sold out, and we prepared more than 200 lobster dinners for hungry residents.

A special thanks goes to all those who participated and also to Adam’s Hometown Market, Scotts Farms, the Chester Fairground, and Zanardi Oil Company for their many contributions to our event.

So, how many Rotarians does it take to cook a lobster? Turns out, 18, masked and distanced!
