Bring Us Together

As unaffiliated voters, we always read up on the candidates of both parties and never vote solely based on whether a person has an R or a D next to their name. Over the past years, we have been consistently impressed with State Representative Devin Carney (R-23) and are going to vote for him again this year.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, Devin worked incredibly hard to keep the people of the 23rd District informed, and never put a partisan spin on anything. He assisted many people with unemployment issues and worked with business owners to address their concerns. He fought for better protections for nursing home residents and employees after there was a tragic outbreak at Apple Rehab. With much of next year’s session being devoted to economic recovery, it only makes sense to have Devin there representing us based on his firsthand experiences during this time.

While the legislative session was cut short, Devin worked across the aisle to get several key bills passed—including expanded telehealth services and legislation to hold Eversource more accountable. He knows now is no time for partisan bickering and we must come together for the people.

In a time of division, let’s vote for someone who wants to bring us together. That person is Devin Carney.
