The Relentless Champion

I encourage your readers to join me in re-electing Robin Comey to the General Assembly as state representative for the 102nd District.

Many speak of Representative Comey’s compassion and concern for her constituents. It is one of her many attributes. Recently, a neighbor gave me a personal account of his experience with Representative Comey. He had lost his job and had difficulty navigating the unemployment service system, which was overwhelmed with COVID-19-related claims. He spent countless, frustrating hours on the phone trying to file a claim. Exasperated, he contacted Representative Comey. She made calls on his behalf, put him in touch with the right people, and guided him through the process.

She did not stop there. She followed up with him to make sure he received the benefits to which he was entitled. This is not an unusual incident. Representative Comey does this sort of thing all the time.

I am voting for Robin Comey this Nov. 3 because she cares about the people in her district and Connecticut. Time and again, she demonstrates tireless advocacy for our community. She is the relentless champion of Branford and exactly the voice we need in Hartford.
