Fiercely Independent

As a lifelong Old Saybrook resident and a former longtime first selectman, I am thrilled to support Devin Carney for re-election as our state representative. Devin has always been there for the Town of Old Saybrook and its residents and precious resources.

Devin has vociferously fought against municipal mandates that would raise our local property taxes. He has always supported our local businesses and schools. He was endorsed by the League of Conservation Voters for his support of our coastline and working to ensure that future generations can experience Old Saybrook’s natural beauty. He is also a strong supporter of our history and ensuring that Old Saybrook’s quaint character remains.

I will feel very comfortable with Devin at the helm. He is fiercely independent in his views and never lets partisan politics get in the way—a trait we desperately need more of in government. I know he will always put the people first and I hope your readers will join me in voting for Devin Carney on Nov. 3 or by absentee ballot.
