Welfare, Safety, and Security

I wholeheartedly and without reservation support Christine Cohen’s re-election as state senator for the 12th District and encourage your readers to you do the same.

Over the past two years, Senator Cohen has shown herself to be a tireless advocate for her constituents. From her legislative successes in environmental protection to her fact-based updates on COVID-19 to her support of capping the out-of-pocket costs for insulin, the senator is always focused on the welfare, safety, and security of the citizens of District 12.

Additionally, as a local business owner, Christine understands the barriers and pressures experienced by small companies in Connecticut. Early in her term she was essential in ending the business entity tax. She is now working on a bill that would allow small businesses to have a public option for providing employees with health insurance. I agree with Christine when she says that we make Connecticut stronger by supporting small businesses.

I encourage your readers to join me in casting their votes for Christine Cohen on Nov. 3.
