The New Generation

Change is needed. We need smart, compassionate, energetic, and devoted people to represent our town. We need to support the passionate young leaders who have stepped up to serve out community. This is why I am so proud to endorse John-Michael Parker for state representative in the 101st District.

I have known John-Michael for more than 25 years. Even as a child and more important as an adult, he always stopped and listened to what you were saying. He always wanted to take care of people. John-Michael represents what I want, what we all should want in our government.

John-Michael came home to make the change we need. He grew up here, went to Yale, followed his dream of music. He became a teacher in New York City, and then became a founding member of one of the nation’s fastest growing non-profit educational organizations, The Future Project.

He realizes the need for better health care because he listens. He knows that gun violence must be prevented and has been endorsed by Mom Demands Action. He believes that all have the right to their bodies and has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood. He see racial injustice and needs that to end. He lives on our beautiful coastline and understands that we need environmental protection.

John-Michael is committed to our community. He has experience as an educator, artist, and non-profit leader. He is hard working. He is open minded. He has compassion. He will listen. John-Michael Parker is the new generation of leaders.
