As a community, we are fortunate to be represented in Hartford by the solid leadership team of State Senator Christine Cohen (D-12) and State Representative Sean Scanlon (D-98). I am proud to support them and hope your readers will join me in voting for their re-election.

Christine has made a significant impact in her first term as state senator, focusing on supporting small businesses, expanding access to healthcare, protecting our environment, and preventing gun violence. She knows the challenges small business owners face and is proactively making our community a place for these enterprises to flourish. By strengthening protections for people with pre-existing health conditions, Christine is helping to safeguard the vulnerable among us. Christine has demonstrated a firm commitment to protect the environment, ensuring the sustainability of the many natural resources of our beautiful shoreline town not only for today, but for generations to come.

As our state representative, Sean Scanlon has been a leader on mental health parity, insulin pricing caps, and access to telehealth, which is especially important in these challenging times. During the recent storms and massive power outages in our area, Sean was right on the frontlines, tirelessly advocating for and supporting his constituents in their times of need.

Christine and Sean are our neighbors, our advocates, and our voices in Hartford. They are dedicated and invested in our community and we need them to keep fighting for us. I encourage your readers to join me in voting to re-elect Sen. Christine Cohen and Rep. Sean Scanlon.
